How to refuel the pressurized cleaning machine?
When it comes to refueling the pump heads of car washing machines, the following points require attention:
1. A car wash machine is, in essence, a water pump boosting device. Therefore, its pump head should be lubricated with engine oil rather than gear oil. Engine oil performs multiple functions, including lubrication, cleaning, cooling, sealing, reducing wear, preventing rust and corrosion, and more.
2. For the water pump of high-pressure cleaning machines, it is recommended to use 30 engine oil. This type of oil has a dynamic viscosity of between 27 and 33 mm²/s at 50°C, a freezing point of -10°C, and a flash point of up to 180°C.
3. The high-pressure water gun pump used for car washing also requires the addition of automotive engine oil. High-pressure water guns, also known as high-pressure cleaning machines or high-pressure water jet cleaning machines, rely on a power source to drive a high-pressure piston pump, generating high-pressure water streams that can effectively clean and remove dirt from the surface of objects.
4. For certain models of car wash machine pump heads, such as the 55 model, it is also possible to use gear oil. The car wash machine’s requirements for engine oil are not particularly stringent; the key is regular maintenance and oil replacement.
II. Correct Procedure for Refueling
Shutdown Cooling: Ensure the equipment has come to a complete stop and has cooled down for 15 minutes.
Clean the fuel filler opening: Wipe the area around the fuel filler opening with a clean cloth.
Check the oil level: the oil level should be at the middle position in the observation window.
Add fuel slowly: use a funnel to prevent spills.
Check the seal: Ensure that the fuel filler cap is properly sealed.
III. Key Points for Daily Maintenance
Inspect the oil level and quality once a month.
Replace the lubricant every 100 hours of usage or every 3 months, whichever comes first.
If the oil appears cloudy or has changed color, it should be replaced immediately.
When not in use for an extended period, the old oil should be drained out.
