On October 10, the Ministry of Commerce held a special press conference today (October 10) and relevant officials of the Ministry announced that the 138th Canton Fair will be held in Guangzhou in three phases from October 15 to November 4. According to reports, this session of the Canton Fair exhibition area of 1.55 million square meters. The total number of booths was 746,000, and more than 32,000 enterprises participated in the exhibition, all of which reached a new high, and about 3,600 enterprises made their debut. For the first time, high-quality enterprises with the titles of high-tech, specialty and unique products, and individual champions, exceeded 10,000, reaching a record high, accounting for 34% of the total number of enterprises at the export show. There will be 353 thousand intelligent products on display. Wang Zhihua, director of the Department of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Commerce, said that for the first time, a special zone for smart medical care was established, attracting 47 enterprises such as surgical robots, intelligent monitoring and wearable devices. We brought in 46 industry leading enterprises, exhibited humanoid robots and robotic dogs, and nurtured new highlights in the development of foreign trade. In addition, this Canton Fair for the first time held a docking event for foreign trade goods to expand domestic sales, setting up a special area of about 3,000 square meters. More than 600 new product launch events and 13 themed forums will also be held. To date, the global partners of the Canton Fair have increased to 227, covering 110 countries and regions.
