How to choose a high pressure washer
With so many options available on the market, it can be challenging to determine which car washer is the best fit for your needs.
When selecting a car washer, it is essential to first gain an understanding of the machine. Below, we will introduce the structure and configuration of car washer.
The core component of the car washer is the high pressure pump head driven by an electric motor. At present, there are mainly two types of electric motors available on the market: brushed series motors and brushless induction motors.
The advantages of brush-connected series motors are that they are cost-effective and do not require a very high voltage; they can also be started in many low-voltage environments. The disadvantages are that they are noisy and have a very short lifespan. The wires used in brush-connected series motors are either aluminum or copper, with copper wires generally being of higher quality. Many vendors promote copper wire motors. As the name suggests, brush-connected series motors are equipped with brushes. Once the brushes wear out, the motor becomes non-functional. Currently, the lifespan of brush-connected series motors on the market is estimated to be only a few dozen hours, with the best quality models lasting around 100 hours. Moreover, many factories cut corners to reduce costs, which results in inconsistent brush quality. Poor motor design or imbalance during production and installation can also lead to brushes wearing out quickly.
Depends on the usage:
Generally, high-pressure cleaners can be divided into two types: home use and professional use. If you use the cleaning machine for less than 50 hours a year, you only need to buy a home use cleaning machine. The price is relatively cheap, the weight is light, the material is simple and not heat-resistant. If the usage time is more than 100 hours, you should consider a professional high-pressure cleaner, which is larger in size and made of durable materials such as copper alloy pump heads and stainless steel valves. The price is of course much more expensive. So how to choose should depend on the needs of consumers.
2. Depends on the need for hot and cold water:
High-pressure cleaners can be divided into hot water and cold water types depending on the occasion. Most of the high-pressure cleaners on the market are cold water types, which can be used by injecting normal temperature water from the faucet; but some business premises need to be rinsed with hot water. At this time, you should specially buy a hot water type high-pressure cleaner. If you rashly inject hot water with a cold water type, the internal parts including the water pump will be damaged very quickly, which is not worth the loss.
A heating device is added to the hot water cleaning machine, which generally uses a combustion cylinder to heat the water. Using hot water for cleaning can quickly rinse away a large amount of dirt and oil stains that are not easy to rinse with cold water, greatly improving the cleaning efficiency.
However, because hot water cleaning machines are often expensive and have high operating costs (because they use diesel), most users may choose ordinary cold water high-pressure cleaning machines; of course, in order to improve cleaning efficiency and results, there are still many professional customers who will choose hot water cleaning machines.
3.You also need to choose a nozzle: Different nozzles have different cleaning effects. For example, a circular water column nozzle can increase cleaning efficiency, a fan-shaped nozzle can rotate the nozzle as a low-pressure spray (can spray soapy water) and a high-pressure fan-shaped water column, and a low-pressure brush head can spray low-pressure water to gently scrub, etc. Some of these nozzles will be included, and some can be purchased by yourself. When purchasing, you should refer to your needs and choose carefully.
4. Choose a brand
There are many brands of cleaning machines on the market. Imported ones are 1-2 times more expensive than domestic ones, or even more. When choosing, you should base your choice on your actual needs and budget. Usually, imported equipment has newer technology, and its durability and efficiency are better than domestic ones, but its price is also much higher, and the maintenance cost is 2-3 times higher than that of domestic equipment. After selecting the brand to use, you should also pay attention to choosing a business.
